If Oblivion was multiplayer, I'm sure Puncezorz would be reigning supreme right about now.
I'd be [Puncezorz] No Frames Per Second

BAHAHHA No FPS!
Yay i got Oblivion! it rocks!!! its fucking unstable as though, but its so good that i ignore the random crashes. Luckily the game only takes a few seconds to load up again =D
Runs ok for me. Turn off the grass, boosts fps heaps plus you can see when wolves are running for ya. Normally cause there is a multitude of grass everywhere they hide under it. hehehe

Lol, random crashes? It runs like a dream compared to how my computer runs Morrowind For some unknown reason, Morrowind crashes literally every 5 minutes. This runs much better.

Why? If all the nerds at iPGN suggested this, why would any of you complain?

It's true Alan. the only foolish fanboy talk is here, with you denying Intel's patheticness.
What's more, I asked for something around $2000, and thats what they gave me.
However now I cant stop laughing at your geek talk immitation.

lol amd does own intel though.. we have known that all along alan i've been telling you for years Well that jsut shows your ignorance there =P AMD didnt always own.. And youd be stupid to think so. The amdk6-2's were good (they were around the 500mhz mark and for the time were a very solid performer, to the point where most people sold them as "pentium 500's" because not many people knew of the AMD name). The durons were a blight on computer history. My pentium 350 kicked the ass off a duron 700... like not jsut by a bit either.. it would have been at least 2.5 times better. Amd were still plagued with heat problems then too.. and only in the last 1-2 years have they managed to get it under control and up to intel's level. On intel's side, pentiums have performed solidly up until the more recent Prescotts, which have the heat problems that the old amd's had. Pentium III 800's (coppermine) were awesome in their day, being nigh-indestructable as they were. To be blunt, amds were really only to the standard that intel's celerons were, until recently. (This information is from my own experience from building, using and repairing these systems, and many more, personally.)

arach no way... the birth of the thunderbird was the beginning of the end for intel and that was years ago.. i remember working at a computer shop when they were first released and they kicked arse and that was in 2000.. also remember that the duron was meant to be comparable to the celeron.. in no way would you compare it to the pentium. around those times the pentium 3 and amd thunderbird were comparable.. and the celeron and duron were comparable. The duron kicked the celerons arse as a budget cpu. I agree with you that the early amd xp cpus were pretty dodgy.. the 1400+ - 2000+ were terrible heat wise but performance was just below pentiums.. BUT they were much cheaper and thats why they were popular. When the amd xp's changed to the barton core they out performed the pentium 4. And then the amd64 just blew intel away

the pentium 3 and amd thunderbird were comparable.. Nah, amd's were still pretty poor, they did start to catch up in speed.. a little. but the heat problems still prevailed. Really though, if they just shipped with a better stock fan&heatsink it woulda been ok. But I believe the pentium3's still won, being so much more reliable. For some reason as well, software was still more compatible with intel hardware too, so pentiums offered software stability as well as hardware. With that in mind though, amd's were always cheaper than their intel counterpart, so thats defainately a bonus for them. When the amd xp's changed to the barton core they out performed the pentium 4. And then the amd64 just blew intel away Yeah thats what I meant, that in the last year or 2 the amd's have pretty much overtaken Intel. (the processors themselves might have come out sooner, but i'm talking about when they become worthwhile to buy and therefore more mainstream, not when they're still $1000+.)
